UPDATES archive for xmas_webcam

12/24 UPDATE: There was a HUGE increase in the amount of "light flickering" starting Xmas Eve shortly before 7:00PM (maybe Santa's GPS failed, so he was using my house as a navigation aid?!? ;-) and some misc. technical difficulties associated with this load spike, so pls try again if something doesn't quite work right. Also, my ISP reported that they had a 40-amp circuit breaker pop that brought my server down for a bit.

12/25 UPDATE: LOTSA activity again on evening of December 25th, but no major technical issues seen. And so far, no complaints from our nice neighbors about the lights. Have not heard from the FAA yet, but it has gotta be quite the sight from the air! ;-)

12/26 UPDATE: I found out why my server (basically) melted down Xmas Eve. My own brother Myke, Slashdot'ed me! Read about it here - suffice to say this has resulted in LOT of flickering activity on the xmas_webcam - lets just say my house is doing an imitation of "ET Phone Home" ;-) So I am going to CRUSH him in a best two-outa-three Rock Paper Scissors Roshambo contest live on the xmas_webcam scheduled for 2130 MST Sunday, December 29th.

12/28 UPDATE: Added some more cool pictures to the archive.
And coming up: A best two-outa-three ROCK Paper Scissors Roshambo contest live on the xmas_webcam scheduled for 2130 MST Sunday, December 29th.

12/30 UPDATE: Results of the 12/29 Rock-Paper-Scissors now available - Alek's ROCK is a crusher!
The Snowman was ... uuhhhhhh ... VANDALIZED ... but I caught the culprit on the xmas_webcam!
All of the above and more in the "cool" pictures archive.

01/02 UPDATE: All lights taken down ... in one (LONG) day!
