A few more misc. items and answers to misc. questions that people asked: Bryan did not say "Dr. Alek I presume" when we met at the Hotel! ;-) Yes, Victoria Falls was the place discovered by Dr. Livingston and there is a town named after him across the border. BTW, Victoria Falls is a MILE long ... and it is in high water ... MAN, does it come roaring over! We had a nice dinner with Bryan, Julie, and two cyclists that have met. Recall that Bryan & Julie have been bicycling from Turkey the last 9 months. The other couple started several years ago in Alaska; went to South America, flew to Africa, and are biking back home to England - WOW! Wendy is out shopping for more curios ... we are now totally over our 25 pound weight limit! Interesting things was at least 4 vendors REALLY wanted my baseball hat (it says "NatHab" on it). I can only imagine what I what have been able to get if I had brought some of Kurt's "Bud Gear" along with ... I'd be bringing home a 12 foot giraffe! The border crossings have been right out of the movies; lots of guards sitting around, stampping forms left and right, and basically not doing anything ... I gave 'em Wendy's paperwork (and vice-versa) and they sent us right through! We leave in about 15 minutes back into the bush. We have been spoiled at the first two camps - they had accomodations for 8 and 10 people total ... and had exclusive access to 100,000+ acres of game reserve. These next camps have a whopping 24 guests at 'em! Thanx for the all the notes from folks ... sorry if I'm sending ya' all too much Email! ;-) alek
