Dirk the Digger helps dig/level the dirt in the basement crawl space
Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of what the dirt in the
basement crawl space looked like beforehand ... but lets just say there
was a LOTTA leveling that needed to be done. And as you can see
in these pictures, it is a tight space so it's a bit hard on your
back as you are stooping the entire time you are digging. Note that
I wore a bike helmet since you can't help but bang your head
occasionally on the ceiling.
Dirk actually DID help a bit on this project ... and after a few days
of work, asked if he could bring his "digger" in to REALLY do the job.
He had a lot of fun doing this ... although if the truth be known,
this was a bit more for show than actual dirt moving! ;-)
