High Peaks Post 4th Graders and Parents,

We had a great meeting over lunch yesterday where we
discussed everyone's story ideas and I was pleased to hear
that several students have started the interview/research phase
of their project and are starting to write their stories.

Remember that reporters have deadlines ... and we want to
finish up before Spring Break ... so I'd encourage all of you
to plug away this weekend on your stories. Remember to
brainstorm with your friends and family ... plus see if they
can help you review what you have written.

Once you have a decent first draft, please Email it to me
and I can comment plus add to our web site at:

We will NOT have a meeting over lunch next Thursday,
March 6th, since the Denver Newspaper Agency Printing
Plant tour is that afternoon. Please respond to Maggie Yost's
Email if you want to sign up for that - space is  limited.

We'll resume meeting over lunch on Thursday, March 13th.
At that time, I'm hoping everyone will have a decent draft
as I would like you to exchange stories with a fellow student
and have them assume the role of editors/reviewers.
