Ships Log - Ocean Nova Antarctica Cruise - January 23rd through Febuary 10th, 2009

Here's the Ocean Nova's ship's log which shows the places we went on the Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica cruise. Total distance traveled was 3,488 nautical miles. Click on each of the days to see the daily program - PDF format.
Note: Unfortunately, the ship's log is only accurate to a degree-minute, so at least on Google Maps, it sometimes doesn't quite line up with the topography as I remember it ... plus in a few cases, there appears to be an error as it is off by more than a degree-minute as noted by the * entries. The Antarctica Google Map uses my more precise data based on that research. Keep in mind that this part of the world is pretty remote and not that extensively surveyed! ;-)
